Hi. I mentioned earlier the Debian Edu / Skolelinux student project supervised by Marius Kotsbak in FRiSK, where Nirosan Thiyagalingam (neerow on IRC) is trying to set up a Raspberry Pi client as a Debian Edu client.
His work is starting to give fruits, and he has uploaded a SD card image with the software needed to boot a Raspberry Pi as a Debian Edu workstation in a Debian Edu network. If you got a Debian edu main-server available, you should be able to hook up the $35 computer using this disk image, available from <URL: ftp://ftp.skolelinux.org/pub/edu-raspberry-pi/ >. There is both a gzip-compressed and an uncompressed image available. The image is created by starting with Raspian and running debian-edu-bless to transform it to a Debian Edu workstation. Nirosan can explain more. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
