If you want to hook up the Debian Edu / Skolelinux network to the
email network on the Internet, a few configuration changes are needed.
First of all, one need to have a publicly visible DNS domain, and the
server need to be configured to accept email for this domain.

I've written the first draft for a recipe on how to do this, now
available from
<URL: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/HowTo/PublicMailServer(SMTP) >.

Please update it if you find bugs in it.

While implementing this change at a school, it occured to me that we
are probably better of by dropping our own versions of exim
configuration, and instead preseed exim4-config and add a small
fragment to get LDAP support into the default exim4 configuration.
Something for Wheezy or Jessie?
