Hi all,those of you who have a wheezy TJENER and/or LTSPSERVER (as separate machine) installed. Could you please check if ordinary users get notified about pending updates (via the update-notifier daemon)?
If you report back, please give the information:
o installation profile (main-server+workstation,
main-server+terminal-server+workstation,
terminal-server+workstation)
o desktop shell where the notifications pop up (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, LXDE)
To my understanding we should avoid those kinds of notifications on
server (main-s, terminal-s) machines.
