Hi, 1) I've noticed that KDE configured in edu blocks runnning programs as root with graph support (like synaptic as root). Actually in lxde works.
This drives to problems with calibration tools of the whiteboards. Is there an easy way to remove this limitation? 2) Adding .desktop files into /usr/share/applications/ doesn't lead to correct addition of the corresponding programs in the KDE menu (the same file works in lxde). I've checked the syntax of the .desktop ans seems ok. 3) Gnome status ? Still unable to install it dued to a gir1 polkit package that has wrong hashes. Is it possible that this broken package is on squid ? Is there a way to delete a single file on squid?
