The current ISO is working well, and we are ready to do the alpha0 release. But for that to happen, we need to write the release notes, copy the iso to a more permanent location and send out the announcemnt. I can copy the ISO, but need help on the release notes.
A draft release note is in <URL: https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/ReleaseNotes/Jessie >. But I suspect we should cut down on the amount of information we include in the alpha 0 release announcement, to avoid getting a too long email. The alpha0 announcement for Wheezy was a lot simpler, check out <URL: https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/ReleaseNotes/Wheezy >. What do the rest of you think? Can you help get the relase note ready today? The note need to contain at least this information: - what debian edu / skolelinux is - where the iso can be downloaded - known problems - where to report new issues -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
