while I'm very happy to see that you are finally considering to use free
tools I don't think the above statement is generally true.
There are plenty of translators who *love* the simplicity of .po files
and not being forced to use online and/or browser based tools.
I'd much welcome a system which allows for using *both* kinds of workflows:
.po file based *and* webbased.
