When installing from USB multi-arch image without a DHCP being present
on the network, the Debian (Edu) Installer complains about this
(wanted) network setup failure. The user is then requested to interact.
The installation proceeds if you check the D-I option:
Leave network unconfigured (Netzwerk unkonfiguriert lassen)
