Hi, kudos for the release everyone involved! Seeing "[02 Jul 2016] Debian Edu / Skolelinux Jessie — a complete Linux solution for your school" on www.debian.org and also the full text on https://www.debian.org/News/2016/20160702 made me smile quite a bit! Thank you!
Regarding further improvements to jessie, we currently have two packages
with unuploaded changes in their "jessie" git branches, which are ready
to be uploaded:
- debian-edu-config
- debian-edu-doc
Is anyone planning to do more changes? Anything which should be improved in
the manual?
Some manual translations are still lacking a bit behind:
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.de.po: 1565 translated messages.
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.da.po: 8 fuzzy translations.
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.fr.po: 8 fuzzy translations.
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.it.po: 8 fuzzy translations.
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.nb.po: 8 fuzzy translations.
- debian-edu-jessie-manual.nl.po: 8 fuzzy translations.
