Maybe all related installations fail since some time because the 
edu-testing-nolocal CD ISO image uses wrong debian-installer images. It 
seems to be that the d-i images are taken from unstable; should IMO 
rather be taken from testing (like done w/ the stretch DI alpha7 ISO 
images).

So I'm wondering if this should be given a try:
