what's the status of this bug?
Bug#344030: Profiles are not active upon logins like ssh -X
From reading the bug log as well as the debian/changelog for desktop-profiles
1.4.9 and 1.4.11 it seems like the bug has been fixed, partly?
Is this still an issue given all the changes since 2006? :)
