shure. I've got a ms-network for shool administration here - don't care
about, some IServ > https://iserv.eu/
solution for educational part, which I'm co-admin and a
DebianEdu/Skolelinux one where I administrate our copiers and do the
shoolbook sharing for our students.
On the IServ solution clients so far happened to be Windows machines.
But, since XP's no longer supported, I now have a computer room with 17
Debian machines, rolled out via IServs opsi solution. As I preceeeded
some education tasks, I thought about using DebianEdu standalone
installation instead.

I think about using this on the teachers station in the near future.
