Package: debian-edu-config Version: 2.11.2 Severity: normal While testing Debian Edu 10.1 installation media I noticed that the intended /etc/network/interfaces file modification (to make hostname updates take effect immediately) didn't work. While adding a post-up stanza to the eth0 entry works upon upgrades via the debian-edu-config postinst script, the modification fails because d-e-c postinst is executed at a time when the interfaces file still contains predictable interfaces names.
The post-up line needs to be added during d-i finish-install to take effect at installation time. Wolfgang
