The browser component on Wndows is a variant of Firefox. "The Windows version of SEB currently uses the Mozilla Gecko browser engine, either in the form of Firefox or XULRunner." But a consistent Kiosk mode for GNU/Linux that supports the configuration of SEB seems to be lacking. Project managers have repeatedly stated that demand is to low and development costs too high for a GNU/Linux version to be feasible.
