>From a quick glance over debian/rules, it seems your package build-depends on "devscripts" without needing it. This dependency might come from an ancient template or was documented there to make the deprecated get-orig-source rule work. Some very few build will actually need devscripts if they use "checkbashism" for example. If so, please close this bug.
