Hi,

Just in case salsa doesn't mail you about this, I thought I ought to
mention that I've created a merge request for debian-edu-install, to
make install paths usrmerge compliant so that lintian stops complaining
about them:

  https://salsa.debian.org/debian-edu/debian-edu-install/-/merge_requests/7

and lintian's current state of upset can be seen here:

  https://udd.debian.org/lintian/?packages=debian-edu-install

I'm reasonably confident that this change is totally harmless, and I'm
happy to do an NMU if that helps. I should have time next week to fix
things if it were to break anything, so I'd probably plan to do an NMU
on Monday, and then make sure that the openqa tests continue to pass
when that makes it into images, and fix anything that breaks.

Of course, openqa only currently tests the standalone install, so I hope
that's sufficient to catch any breakage.

If that's not OK, or if one of you has time to do merges & uploads
yourself, please say so, and I'll leave it to you.

In case you're wondering, this MR was prompted by the fact that
debian-edu-install was kicked out of testing for lintian errors about a
missing systemd file (that wasn't missing), and I noticed that the
package has since gained 21 lintian errors, so I thought I might as well
sort that out now, rather than wait for it to be kicked out later, again
pointlessly breaking the openqa tests.

BTW The MR also has a comment about getting Debian Installer to build
mini-ISOs for Debian Edu -- if you happen to know what's needed to make
that happen, please get in touch with me, and perhaps we can fix
branch2repo so that it can make useful test images for Debian Edu.

Cheers, Phil.
