Hi Mike, Debian Edu task video has a suggests on kino, but this package has been removed from the archive. There is also no point in trying to reintroduce this software, as it has not been maintained upstream since 2009.
The Debian archive has several other video editors though, that are also recommended or suggested by the Debian Edu video task. So we could simply drop kino from suggests or we could replace it with flowblade, another non-linear video editor available in Debian and comparable with kino. By doing so, we could close bug #1118082. What is your opinion ? -- Kind regards, Frans Spiesschaert
