eeepc-acpi-scripts conflicts with acpi-support, so the installation on my 701 (which I think was a fairly typical install) ended up with acpi-support being removed. This meant that the file /etc/init.d/vbesave was still installed and gave an error on boot.
I'm not sure how to fix this, obviously I can just purge the package acpi-support but we need to have something like this get done automatically without user intervention. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Blog http://www.coker.com.au/sponsorship.html Sponsoring Free Software development _______________________________________________ Debian-eeepc-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/debian-eeepc-devel
