Unfortunately I do not.

I do not think so. It turns on after 10 minutes or so (after having done
for example aptitude safe-upgrade and the CPU usage applet of LXDE shows
that the CPU is running at maximum) and stays on although the CPU idles
afterward.

Linux 2.6.26 from Sid is running. I have not yet upgraded to 2.6.28.

I do not know having not used either of them.
