Fabien, my eee show the same sd card bug, and it has indeed been solved on newer kernel versions.

Look for the debian trunk kernels on wiki.debian.org, and install the sid kernel. I am running fine with linux-image-2.6.28-1-686. Please keep in mind that you may have to upgrade eeepc-acpi-scripts and maybe tweak wifi config. Most of it is in the wiki.
