We need somebody to properly test a partial upgrade from lenny (specifically, a kernel from testing/unstable, though a backport will probably do, and X from lenny) to see how well X copes with the touchpad (preferably with *one* of xserver-xorg-input-mouse, -evdev and -synaptics present at any time). (Updating http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/HowTo/ElantechTouchpad would be of use too.)
