ok, i built eeepc-acpi-scripts from git and tried super key (fn-space) toggle in live image system, but acpi_listen didn't report anything more than one hotkey line. is there any way to verify that power saving modes are toggled? i also went and installed the git eeepc-acpi-scripts to my 2.6.30-bpo.1-686 based system and noticed that fn-f10 (mute) didn't work anymore. acpi_listen reports button/mute MUTE 00000080 00000000 hotkey ASUS010:00 00000013 00000000 and alsamixer shows flash in master MM/00 field, but sound is not muted and 00 does not change to MM. this works in live image and it also works in 2.6.30-bpo.1-686 system with version 1.1.5 of eeepc-acpi-scripts. fn-f10 (mute) started to work in 2.6.30-bpo.1-686 system immediately when i downgraded eeepc-acpi-scripts from version 1.1.6 to version 1.1.5. perhaps version 1.1.6 is not intended to be used anymore with 2.6.30 kernel? if so, may be it would be good idea to add such a dependency rule to debian/control. -- juha _______________________________________________ Debian-eeepc-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/debian-eeepc-devel
