Hi, on this page http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EeePc I have read that: Use the integrated HPET timer (saves about 30 CPU wake ups per second) Should be used by default. $ cat /sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/current_clocksource This should return 'hpet'
On my debian stable it returns tsc. On google I have found that tsc is the default. Has anyone infos on this ? Which clocksource timer is better for eeepc ? Are there problems with hpet ?
