That is accurate. It is not supported. We have found that when people enable it, it tends to make the system unstable, so it is now disabled in the kernel by default.
Okay. A bit more Googling and it looks like the "super hybrid engine" only exists on model 901 and onwards. I will have fan control and be able to underclock my EEE PC 701 though?
