FWIW Google tells me there's a problem with hibernate on 2.6.35/6. http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/browse_thread/thread/4a96e76a7f5271af I've had two problems affecting hibernate with upgrading Debian on desktop and laptop (neither eeePC). One related to the change from using disc devices to using UUIDs. I suspected initramfs. I reverted back. The other problem I've had was with kernel mode setting on graphics display. There's a reported problem with radeon - I don't know about Intel. Hibernate is definitely a flakey area although I've found Debian's 2.6.32-5 to be OK.
