        I have an 1215B with E350 and I have sound with Squeeze 64 bits
and standard kernel.
        The always thing I made is to choose the default audio card in creating
an /etc/asound.conf file with these lines :

pcm.!default {
    type hw
    card SB
}
ctl.!default {
    type hw           
    card SB
}
