Hi,
today the package auto-install-el was a candidate for the bug of the day[1].
I noticed that bug #974720 looks easy to fix, but I'm wondering whether
this package is still needed in Debian today. This is an honest
question - if the answer is yes, I'd be happy to help fix the bug and
possibly migrate the package to Salsa for easier maintenance. I just
want to make sure my time is well spent, so I'd like to hear others'
opinions first.
Kind regards
Andreas.
