When I try to do an "emsource --verbose nano" I get:-

Looks like the problem is the permissions on the directory it wants to 
use for the emdebian patches, but unfortunately the error message gives no
clue as to where this directory it.

The directory that I am running this command in is mine so I guess that it 
is not trying to use the current directory, so the question is where is it
trying to download the patches?
