Ah, you might have noticed that it's not up to the embedded developers
of the day to "mess themselves" by reading documentation, checking
./configure options, setting appropriate environment variables or in
the very worst case creating the symlinks in $(CURDIR)/wayward-path
and setting $PATH to include it. They don't plain have the capacity
for such a mess.
