On at91sam9263ek .
cat audiotest.au >/dev/audio works well in angstrom rfs . But not
working (no sound) on debian armel rfs , using
same kernel.
I had this on a balloon board. The ac97 codec (UCB1400) was defaulting to
zero volume. It could be that angstrom sets the volume to non zero where
emdebian leaves it as the driver default I believe. You can check that it
is "playing" even at zero volume by noting that it takes an expected amount
of time to finish catting.
