Hello, Emdebian cross toolchains for squeeze are already available in the repository:
"deb http://emdebian.org/debian squeeze main" Available compilers are gcc-4.3 and gcc-4.4 for all the official Debian architectures. Limitations ======== There are a couple missing compilers from the full set which are gcc-4.4/hppa and gcc-4.3/ia64, which should be fixed at some point in the future. If using cross gdb, you might experience problems as gdb enables sysroot (/usr/$triplet) whether cross toolchains are not sysroot aware. A workarround that might do the trick could be setting up symlinks to create a symlinked sysroot, i.e: /usr/arm-linux-gnueabi/usr/lib -> /usr/arm-linux-gnueabi/lib; /usr/arm-linux-gnueabi/usr/include -> /usr/arm-linux-gnueabi/include. Apologies for any inconvenience. Unstable (not yet available) should be available by the beginning of this week including part of the debian-ports architectures (sh4, armhf and powerpcspe).
