The section: [General] include=/path/to/general.conf setup_script=/path/to/setup.sh config_script=/path/to/config.sh has two typos. The underscores ( _ ) are not needed as shown on: http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/natty/man1/multistrap.1.html Ermis
