if it makes you feel any better: I once wrote a little shell script to send the same email to eighty or so people - this is at work, it's a regular email ... I tried it for my email address - it worked. I sent out the email - and eighty people got eighty copies each. One furious phone call - "Didn't you TEST this?" "Yes, of course, it worked for me" ...
