Subject: Re: An available alpha cross compiler?
To: Jack Wilborn <[email protected]>

Thanks for the quick reply Jack,

I actually found a few cross-compilers for alpha here:
http://www.m5sim.org/wiki/index.php/Download

but my problem is that I need coff executables for the simcore simulator.

I tried using objcopy to get a coff file, but it seems objcopy does not
accept coff format for the alpha architecture or I am using the wrong
format. So far I have tried with the following output format options:
alpha-dec-osf4, alpha-unknown-coff and coff-alpha.

any ideas? I am a noob with these sort of thing, so any clue about the
right direction would be great.

Thanks and best regards
