*IMO* not enough stuff for Users on it. There is much stuff on a official CD1 a "normal" User wont need. (Normal == The people we are giving the CD.) I dont think its good to hand out only CD1. A specialised CD or the whole set. Yes, the CD1 *should* contain most wanted stuff, but that includes many Servers and things a Desktop User dont wants. A user of this CD should insert them, run through the Install (without need of net-access) and then he should have a fairly complete *Workstation*. If not then Debian could become a negative touch for them. (A existing Debian User normally does not use our CDs, just a fast update over Internet, so we need to make it for new Users i think). Disclaimer: I have to check what it is on a CD1 *now*. I last looked on CD1 a few weeks ago and there was something missing (CD2,... contained it) for a normal User. -- begin OjE-ist-scheisse.txt bye, Joerg Encrypted Mail preferred!
