<SNIP configuration> One thing maybe, you say eth1 is connected to jack1 of the hub? Just a possibility, some/most hubs use jack 1 as an uplink to allow stacking, etc. Some can be switched off, if not you might need a crossover cable to use jack 1. Gordon Sadler
