I am interested in finding out if there is a solution for this as well.. and possibly with the following extension: the ability to detect down lines and falling back. Or having a backup line not normally in use, which will pick up in the event of a failure. (ex: dial up a line to keep at least some traffic moving if the regular lines fail)

I have multiple DSL/Cable lines coming in and I want to use all those lines for serving the outgoing/incoming traffic. Is there any kind of load-balancer solution there. I am more interested in software solutions rather than a h/w router based solution. All this has to be transparent to the users. Also please recommend an appropriate firewall for this.
