An Internet worm is sending copies of itself to random recipients. Because this worm has the bad habit of using random return addresses, some diligent (lame) virus-scanners will send a warning to the return address. It's quite annoying that the scanners are able to detect the worm, but are ignorant to the fact that this worm is using faked return addresses. This problem is aggravated by the scanner's behaviour of sending his mail with a valid return address, not as bounce message with empty reply address (with "Reply-To: <>"). These "Virus Alerts" are accepted as legitimate mail by lists.debian.org and sent on to all people on the mailing-list. -- Stephan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
