Hmm, no.

Don't use "iptables -F" unless you first know what your default policies
are.

This would be safer (but will remove you entire firewall):

 iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT
 iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT
 iptables -P OUTPUT ACCEPT
 iptables -F
