g++-4.4 is unable to compile the following source code line successfully with
the compiler flag "std=gnu++0x":
char table[] = { -1, -1 };
Example:

Without the "--std=gnu++0x" flag, g++-4.4 succeeds:

This is a regression, since g++-4.3 succeeds either with or without the
-std=gnu++0x flag,
