I think this was a bit too early, this breaks building packages still 
build-depending on gcc-multilib, like linux or zlib. See a (maybe 
non-exhaustive) list here:

I think this last step needs to be coordinated between gcc-defaults, 
gcc-15, glibc, linux and zlib.

Could you please revert this change for now?
