Hi all. I tried again on a clean machine, and dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc
on deb-src still returns: gdal_wrap.cpp:856:18: fatal error: ruby.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. make[2]: *** [gdal_wrap.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/build/gdal/gdal-1.9.0/swig/ruby' make[1]: *** [build] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/gdal/gdal-1.9.0/swig/ruby' make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2 In fact, ruby.h is present on my system: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux/ruby.h and running apt-get build-dep gdal before compilation did not install it. Any hint?
