Hello, Is anyone actually reading the pkg-grass-devel mailing list or should I rather send my questions here?
Anyway: I've updated saga to the last upstream release (2.1.1), a bugfix release. The major change in packaging is that I switched to debhelper9 and multiarch. I'd like to hear from someone more knowledgeable whether I did the right thing for the saga package itself. https://mentors.debian.net/package/saga http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-grass/saga.git Johan ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Johan Van de Wauw <[email protected]> Date: Thu, Jan 9, 2014 at 11:28 PM Subject: Saga 2.1.1 - debhelper9 - multiarch To: Debian GIS Project <[email protected]> Hello everyone, I've imported saga 2.1.1 which was released today. This is mostly a bugfix release [1]. While importing I tried converting the package to debhelper 9. But I got a bit unsure on how to proceed with the multiarch changes that this implies. I was able to build a package that actually installs and works, and pushed those changes in a seperate branch [2] However I got lintian errors on saga itself saying that the binaries should also be in usr/*/bin. Are there any other packages in debian gis which contain both libraries and binaries which were converted to multiarch so I can have a look how this was done?
