Package: locales Version: 2.2.5-14 Followup-For: Bug #113463 Hello,
I've tried to run dpkg-reconfigure to add locales to my system, but the /etc/locale.gen file is untouched after the reconfiguration. The contents of the file are: ---------------------------------------------------------- ### BEGIN DEBCONF SECTION FOR localeconf # Do not edit within this region if you want your changes to be preserved # by debconf. Instead, make changes before the "### BEGIN DEBCONF SECTION # FOR localeconf" line, and/or after the "### END DEBCONF SECTION FOR # localeconf" line. ### END DEBCONF SECTION FOR localeconf ---------------------------------------------------------- If I rerun dpkg-reconfigure locales I'm prompted with the usual list of locales, with none selected. No locales are ever compiled on my system. I'm adding my locales by hand after the END DEBCONF SECTION line and running locale-gen by hand. Quite annoying...
