Well, it's funny. I have seen exactly the same messages with any gcc version on i386. The reason is still unknown. The guy downgrade once to Woody and upgraded to Sid again. From this time, he got the mentioned problem with gcc. The solution was:
- create a chroot - install all the library packages to have the same set of libs - copy the libs from chroot to your main system -> works Gruss/Regards, Eduard. -- "You got a plan?"
