Package: libc6 Version: 2.3.1-6 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
Hi, I've installed the above version of glibc on my alpha system. Immediately during the install, dpkg reported that it could not scan /var/lib/dpkg/updates/: function not implemented. Trying /bin/ls gave the same error messsage. 'find /' only printed out "/". I was able to manually revert back to 2.3.1-5 and everything worked fine again. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: alpha Kernel: Linux tiger 2.4.19 #2 SMP Tue Nov 12 14:20:05 MST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages libc6 depends on: ii libdb1-compat 2.1.3-7 The Berkeley database routines [gl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
