It's possible, and mail will be sent to all the maintainers as you'd expect, but the web interface doesn't show them properly (see bug #lots against bugs.debian.org). What is the problem you see? Junichi is suggesting that the postinsts of our four packages should tolerate receiving $DEBIAN_FRONTEND in lower case, as man-db does.
