Heya Stephen, it looks like something did a bad cut&paste job in your locale.gen file. If you look at the first few lines of uncommented text, you see that they're quite similar to the commented text up top? The other possibility that comes to mind is some file system corruption of some sort. Your best bet for now is to remove those lines that don't make any sense and just go on with it. I suspect that unless someone else reports the same bug, that it's probably localised to something that happened on your system. I use locales here (and I think so does gotom), so we should've seen this report ourselves if from other people if it were systemic. Since we also don't know for certain when this showed up on your system, I think we should give this a week to see if other people show up with this bug, and if not tag it unreproducable and close it in 6 months.
