I agree a lot. ISO 8601 is very much what we use in Sweden. What I'm saying is that the separator in times is one of the few exceptions, where we normally use "." rather than ":". Not that anybody would be confused by a time written 12:34. And you see it is used, in particular in technical contexts. But 12.34 is the normal way to write. It is also, as I've said, the way recommended by the LANGUAGE standardisation body, Svenska spr�kn�mnden. For these reasons, I still think the sv locale should use 12.34. Obviously you think otherwise. It seems to me we have come to a point where it is a matter of judgement and opinion. Like the opinion what standardisation authority is most appropriate for the locale definition. Unless somebody raises some new aspects in this discussion, I don't think I have more to add here.
