I tried to install a self compiled version of libc6_2.3.1-17 on my sid-box. Alltough compiliation was successful, the following error occured during the installation of the deb-file:

Unpacking replacement libc6 ...
dpkg: error processing libc6_2.3.1-17_i386.deb (--install):

dpkg: error while cleaning up: subprocess pre-installation script killed by signal (Segmentation fault) Errors were encountered while processing: libc6_2.3.1-17_i386.deb
Any help would be appreciated. Please tell me, if you need further
information. I found messages about a similar error on powerpc in the archives, but no solution for my problem.
