Package: libc6 Version: 2.3.2-2 Severity: important Tags: sid Rolling back to libc6 2.3.1-17 helps. I look into /proc/N/status for smbd process, and with libc6 2.3.2-2 I see that last group in the "Groups:" list is the same as pre-last. With libc6 2.3.1-17 this effect disappears. Like this :
Groups: 1 255 230 229 211 (with libc6 2.3.1-17) Groups: 1 255 230 229 229 (with libc6 2.3.2-2) Using "su" to switch to that user id does not show the same behaviour. i May be there is something buggy in Samba as well. We are also using NIS domain in "compat" nsswitch mode, and nscd for caching. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux fluffy.isd.dp.ua 2.6.0-test2-mm4 #1 Tue Aug 5 10:11:27 EEST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=uk_UA, LC_CTYPE=uk_UA Versions of packages libc6 depends on: ii libdb1-compat 2.1.3-7 The Berkeley database routines [gl -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
